We asked ourselves, should we include a smoked or a non-smoked version of the popular Lapsang Souchong. After trying dozens of samples, we decided not to experiment. The first ever black tea in the world deserve the utmost respect. Black Pioneer is sourced from its original location, and is a masterfully pinewood-smoked black tea. This tea is an all-time favorite for many people. With strong, but mellow flavour it's perfect for any time of the day.

Leaf: Big wide slightly twisted leaves with deep greyish-brown color
Aroma: Strong pinewood smoky scent

Don't drink black tea for 6 hours before bed time
3 grams of loose leaf tea in 300ml of 98℃ water for 3 minutes. Re-steep 2-3 times.
